O'Brien Family Vineyard Announces Name
Change -
Now Officially O'Brien Estate Winery
Napa, Calif. - O'Brien
Family Vineyard, an estate family winery
in the Oak Knoll region of southern Napa
Valley, has announced a formal name change
to O'Brien Estate Winery.
"We feel the new name better reflects
who we are - a family-owned winery that
produces high quality estate wines,"
said Bart O'Brien, owner of O'Brien Estate
Winery. "As our estate wines continue
to grow in popularity, it seems only fitting
that we make this change."
O'Brien started the winery seven years ago
with his wife, Barb. The property has a
33 acre vineyard and an 8,400 case winery
facility and produces three wines, including
an Estate Chardonnay, an Estate Merlot,
and its signature wine, O'Brien Estate Seduction
(a Bordeaux-style blend).
"We are very proud of our winery and
the wines we produce," said O'Brien.
"And now we are proud to present our
new name to the wine community."
O'Brien Estate Winery winemaker is David
Yorgensen. As winery owners, the O'Briens
focus on producing superior wine and celebrating
its romantic qualities. They offer private
Romance Tours of O'Brien Estate Winery and
a Wine Club for Lovers, which provides members
access to wines not available at retail.
The O'Briens also founded Wine for Hope,
an online wine retail store that automatically
donates 20% of all sales to Academy of Friends,
a Bay Area organization dedicated to raising
funds to support HIV/AIDS prevention and
education.
